Wedding Anniversary

Friday was our sixth wedding anniversary. It was kind of fun that June 18, 2007 was also a Friday. Mehri stayed late while Joe and I went to dinner in a restaurant on the top (twelfth) floor of a Turkmen "Trade Center." We had a good view of the foothills toward Iran. The English menu contained it's share of malapropisms - "bloated chicken", anyone? - and fantastical promises of avocado and parmesan. But our salads and alfredo came as described plus ham, easily remedied though surprise pork bothers me here then roving mutton. We came home and both chilren were bathed and asleep. Wow!
