The past week or so has been full of little developments. Ruth Anne is helping more and more with getting dressed and undressed. One day found these bloomers in the drawer where I'd put her summer clothes and spent many minutes trying to get a leg through each hole. She eventually succeeded after her bath and only needed Joe's help to get them up over the bustle of the diaper. She likes fiddling with the zipper of one jacket and unsnapping another. Today she tried putting her dog into Soca's harness.
Ruth Anne got to eat her first cookie. It was an Icelandic Pepper Cookie that Joe had made for the cookie exchange. We also took egg salad sandwiches to the exchange and Ruth Anne ate some of that too.
Finally, one more note on the Advent scene: when we took at the animals we found out that Ruth Anne knows what cows say.
